Procrastination......

There has been a dozen of instances where i have read bloggers cursing themselves for being lazy and subsequently regretting. This is my turn now which is no different from them. Thanks to the thinkning 'anony'( i havent understood yet as to why he refers himself as 'Anony' when you can find a PP size identity remarkably flashing on his very own blog) and 'Rambling' Nary for constantly urging me to post something on my blog :-)

There has been bunch of things which i have been intending to do for quite a while(where while = 7 Months), but remain unattended till date.Posting a blog was itself one amoung them.

Very recently Mr.Anony being aware of those 'Bunch of things', was checking on me on how far have i reached on accomplishing them.In return he got a marvellous reply of 'No' to all questions from me.

Shame on me....7 Months.....It was indeed a lot of time for me to do things at my own pace to complete whatever I wanted to do.

I couldnt digest the fact that i have become such a lazy bugger, not able to accomplish even a single task.

Am I losing interest ?
Has my mind become rusty ?
Lack of determination ?
No clarity in what i am doing and what i want to become ?
Concentration levels indirectly proportional to age ?

I do not know which of these attributes to my sluggishness........
Need to spend some time on introspection.....

To little extent i am happy about posting this blog....May be a re-starter for various other 'things'. I feel resurrected.Lets see how things move on from here.....

BA Vs NHS

I am becoming lazier day by day.
Here some news that i felt can be posted(and make this blog site long enough).
The last 5 summer weekends have been quite a busy schedule for me ,completely occupied by crickets matches and nets for the tournaments that has been happening. Its the TCS London cricket tournament, conducted by the TCS London HR which is participated by around 12 TCS accounts in London. We reached the finals after defeating 3 teams in the knock out round.
We(British Airways account) won the Finals last saturday.

It was a rainy saturday morning with the gray clouds refusing to uncover the face of the sun, or atleast give way for the rays.
It was definitely not a good day for cricket.
The captains of either team called off the match due to interminnent rain and the pitch(as well as the outfield) being slippery.
The opponent team(NHS account) left the ground. We were almost at the exit,it was then the organisers actually called us to have the sandwiches, drinks and fruits which they had bought to be served during the play. We(BA) team went back to have the sandwiches and slowly the sun started showing its face. The organiser reconsidered the decision , called back the opponent team to have the cricket match and decided that if it rains during the course of the play then we would then call it off.
NHS won the toss and elected to field. We had to play in the perfect english conditions. The earlier matches that I played were under the hot sun.
We had a bad start and eventually started praying that rain would pour down and spoil the game. However we went on to a decent score of 167 in 25 overs.
There was pressure on both the players of the teams and even on the umpires when there was a heated argument on a controversial catch taken by one of my team mates on the boundary, which was the key wicket for us. Finally we went on to win by a margin of 27 runs.
We were awarded with the rolling trophy and a medal for each of the team members. We had a nice team dinner at a south Indian restaurant sponsored by the HR.
Way to GO......................

Smile

I would consider doing injustice to myself (and my blog) if this blog did not find a place and havent said anything about a person of whom i am a fanatical devotee, and is my favorite actress till date.

Its none other than the lovely TRISHA bearing the priceless , cute and charming smile.

I have always been mesmerized by her smile,no matter how many times have I seen it.So is her striking beauty.God has gifted her with both beauty and a lovely smile.

I am so obsessed about her smile, her looks that whenever she is on screen ,my eyes remain fixed on her until she is out of the scene,no matter how mokka she would act.

More pics , format and txt updates to Follow :-))))

Tour

This blog has been quite dormant for some time. Let me post something and break it.

Last weekend I have been on a tour to the highlands of Scotland. The itinerary included a cruise ride to an place called fionnport. I had all the usual excitements of getting on the cruise for the first time in my life, though it was not that grand one .I strolled on to upper decks, lower decks, parked my selves in the various lounges for sometime, ate some junk in that restaurant available in the cruise which was worst of its kind, captured the landscapes using my digi cam seen from the open decks on the top of the cruise etc etc. Finally I made a relaxing halt in one of the lounges.

Something struck and asked to question to myselves ’Wait a minute. In every place that I have visited in the cruise, not even a single figure has caught my attention.why? ’. Sensed something bizarre.

I looked around in all the directions to do a check and I could only find thaatha’s and paati’s.I thought that since it was very cold outside, all the thaatha’s and paati’s avoided being in the open decks and hence remained indoors. But I still was not convinced. I stood up and decided checking the other lounges and decks. As I made my way to the other places I was shocked to find thatha’s and patties everywhere.Oh My GOD!!!!.Have I joined the wrong tour.

75 percent of the people over there were thathaa’s & paaties and remaining 25 percent were less than 50 age group(and that’s us).

Later I learned that people over here usually find their own way by taking car or bicycle or even they trek.

Another instance where I witnessed this weirdness was on my way to Glasgow from craigmorn mountain, we drove the car through a ‘othaaai adi paadhai’. This route looked totally desolated and was free from traffic. The route was along the river bank and was looking wild. It was raining there and while we drove I was surprised to find couple of cars parked off the road in the river bank and tents raised. These people are gonna stay all night amidst bushes where it is completely devoid of habitation.
How daring….???
Is this how tours have to be??????

There is a huge difference in the perception of tour between us and the britishers

What an abrupt way to stop and a senseless conclusion.

Movies.........

For the past 4-5 months i have been marred by tamil movies.Watchin movies has become an addiction. It has indeed refrained me from doing my day-to-day activities. I would have so much to accomplish for the day after i return from my work, but when i think of 'what do i do next',the idea of watchin a movie would preempt all others. There were instances where 'Na sooouru thanni illamae oru naaall fullaaa padam paathirkaen'.I literally had my back riveted to the couch and eyes glued to the television.

I have seen every tamil movie that has released in the last 4 months that has been rated from worst to not-bad.The only reason I would attribute to this is easy access to tamil movie DVD's for rent(and of course my 'KOZHUPU').The number of movies per week would have definitely reached an unprecendented high which i would have never attained before.
I fear that someday, while i am watching TV, my eyeballs would come out of my eyes and start rolling in front of me if this is gonna continue further.I feel complacent saying 'This is my only source of entertainment'.Consequently this has left a bunch of activities in PENDING state till date.

'Ellathukkum oru mudivu irruku'..and this is it.......Yes..Me and my roomies are gonna stop renting DVD's starting this weekend, as the DVD player is travelling to india along with its owner.

Did I show any act of reformation? No Way.........we have already looked for an alternative(not another DVD player)which we are at the verge of implementation.

ippadikku,

Vetti Velai.........(I wonder if its a Oxymoron)

This week I was totally bogged down by a mediocre job.It all started on monday morning team meeting, where in the task of some impact analysis was foistered on me.I thought of giving a outline of the task on this post but atha pathi ninachaalaae Vanthivarruthu.Gave up.
Everyday,I had to think twice about coming to office.I dont like it.
Next time if I happen to find my team leader on a forsaken lane, maavaaane Sethaaaaan avan.
My hatredness towards the task is growing day by day. Before i show off my frustation in any form,i need to complete it and return to normalcy.
